Ireland has answered the call to adventure
Since the beginning of humanity, we’ve never been content with staying put.
We’ve always had to know what’s over that horizon, what it’s like on top of that Mountain, how we can tame those rapids... and we’ve always wondered what waits for us on the other side of the globe.
Inherently, there’s a little bit of adventurer in all of us.
And now, for the first time ever, the explorers of Ireland have a chance to come together and share their passion for the outdoors.
As the inaugural 53 Degrees North Adventure Festival hits the shores of Blessington Lakes, Co. Wicklow this August Bank Holiday the 4th and 5th.
The two-day pioneering event is the first of it’s kind to take place in Ireland, and offers something for thrill-seekers of all shapes and sizes.
From hiking in the surrounding stunning Wicklow Moutains, to kayaking on the pristine waters of Blessington lake itself, to unleashing your inner Viking with archery and axe-throwing. The 53 Degrees North Adventure Festival has something for everyone! You can even test your metal and learn expert bush-craft survival skills.
Don’t worry if you’re not a seasoned adrenaline-addict, the Festival is aimed at all those whose inner sense of adventure burns bright!
And to get you in the swashbuckling spirit, we’ll be giving away two day tickets to join in the festival. Simply tune in to The Lift with Garry and Fionnuala weekdays from 2:50 to find out how you can win!
And if you’re really lucky you could win the grand prize of two overnight camping tickets in the Tipi Adventures Tree Tent.
