Plenty to get stuck into over the weekend.

Have you completed Netflix?

Stuck for something to watch over the weekend? There's a decent bunch of films on the telly that'll keep you going. With a mix of comedy, drama and kids favourites, here are the best movies on the TV over the next few days.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues - E4 - Friday at 9pm

Does this film even need an introduction? Ron Burgundy and his team return to the news desk as New York launches its very first 24-hour news channel. If ya need a good solid laugh and an injection of daftness into your Friday night, this one is sure to do the trick.

Moana - BBC One - Saturday at 6:50pm

All the feels for your Saturday evening. This family favourite follows Moana, a girl who's fighting to protect her island after all the plants and the fish on it start dying due to a curse. She embarks on a journey to seek out the Demigod and set things right.

Life of Pi - Channel 4 - Saturday at 6:55pm

This 2012 adventure drama film is based on a novel of the same name. Pi Patel must find out how to survive in a lifeboat that's adrift in the middle of nowhere. He's fighting against the odds, all while being accompanied by a hyena and a male Bengal tiger.

Sully - RTÉ One - Saturday at 9:45pm

This drama film is based on the real-life story of Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, an Americal pilot who became an overnight hero when he was forced to land his damaged plane on the Hudson River to save his passengers and crew. The story made headlines all over the world in 2009 and Tom Hanks resumes the role of Sully in the film based on the event.

About A Boy - TG4 - Saturday at 10:05pm

Another little heartwarming feel-good film. About a Boy stars Hugh Grant as the hapless, cynical and immature young man who's taught how to act like a grown-up by a little boy.
