A case of the right place but wrong time!
Children were left in tears and parents outraged after a trailer for a horror movie was shown before a screening of a Peppa Pig film.
According to Sky News, trailers for psychological horror Ma and superhero movie Brightburn were shown at the Empire Cinema in Ipswich before a screening of Peppa Pig - which was attended by mostly young children and parents.
The trailer for Ma starring Oscar-winning Octavia Spencer includes dead bodies and a man being struck by a car:
They were also reportedly shown a trailer for Brightburn that shows violence and a demented looking child:
Spokesperson Statement
A spokesman for Empire Cinemas said:
"As soon as the staff on site were made aware of the situation, the programme was stopped and trailers were taken off-screen immediately.
