There ain't no show like a Joe show
It started with a tweet from Conor Moore (Conor Sketches)

Dave and Fionnuala from The Lift on iRadio wanted to find out was the tweet the real deal or another WhatsApp screenshot that grew legs and made imaginations run wild. Turns out it is 100% True
Speaking to iRadio - Clare County councillor Gerry Flynn (independent) said that 'for a lot of people in the rural parts of Ireland the only channel that they can receive is RTE and they value the coverage and they value the matches that are presented to them and they certainly value the contribution of Joe Brolly'
He also added 'I am hopeful that this particular motion will get the backing because at the end of the day all I am looking for is answers, RTE receive a lot of state funding and we all pay our TV Licence, I think I have every right as a public representative to put something like this forward on behalf of my constituents'

The Motion will be tabled at a meeting of Clare Council on Monday, we await the results of that meeting with bated breath.
