"Each government can put in their own restrictions"
Earlier this week an EU Traffic Light system for international travel was introduced in Ireland.
This means that passengers arriving from some EU countries won’t have to quarantine from next week, if they can prove they’ve tested negative for Covid-19 in the three days before they travelled.
You can find out how the EU Traffic Light system works here.
Travel journalist Melanie May has said that it may be possible to travel to countries marked red.
Speaking to The Hub, Melanie claimed that just because a country is marked red that it is still possible to travel to it.
She said: "You have to bare in mind that there is this map, but each government can put in their own restrictions"
