The Irish Cancer Society is urging people to buy a pin for Daffodil Day on Friday, March 22nd.

150 people are diagnosed with cancer every day in Ireland and the organisation says increased demand on their free services means they’re not able to help everyone who needs their support.

Louise spoke to Mark Mellett, Head of Fundraising with the Irish Cancer Society, about the importance of Daffodil Day.
