If you’ve ever felt like you’re being watched while doing the weekly grocery shop, you might not be too far wrong.

67% of people admit to judging fellow shoppers by what’s in their trolley, while 72% are worried about being judged themselves.

The survey of 2000 people Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Depend, also found that a fear of being judged would lead 89% of people to spend more money to purchase items online rather than in person.

SWNS report more than half (56%) have avoided purchasing personal care products out of fear of being judged, with 75% saying they’re so worried about being judged by a cashier that they’ll grab random items to throw them off.
