Irish influencer Saffron Thompson is tipped to be the first Irish contestant to enter the Love Island villa.

The Dubliner shared pictures of herself at the airport with a boarding pass for Cape Town.

According to reports in Evoke, she joined 3 other girls in Heathrow before heading for South Africa.

Since the rumours started, friends and family have flooded her comments wishing her good luck, adding further fuel to the fire.

The news comes after the winter series' first dumping.

In last night's episode, the unhappy task of picking between identical twins Eve and Jess fell to unlucky-in-love Nas Majeed.

He ultimately decided to save Jess, meaning Eve was left solo and thus eliminated.
