Legendary Republic of Ireland manager Jack Charlton has died at the age of 85.
The former Leeds and England defender who won a World Cup winner's medal in 1966 was diagnosed with lymphoma last year.
He was also battling dementia.
After a remarkable career as a player, Big Jack took over as Republic of Ireland manager in 1986.
Under his management, the team had an unprecedented run of success; qualifying for their first major finals at Euro 88 and two more in the space of 10 years

They also qualified for the World Cup in Italy in 1990 and again in 1994 in the USA.
Ireland reached the quarter-finals in 1990, only to lose out by the narrowest of margins, as the hosts denied them a place in the semi-finals with a 1-0 victory in Rome.
Tributes have been pouring in on social media for the Leeds United legend.

RIP Jack Charlton. Now I know how my mother felt when Elvis Presley died. It's like saying goodbye to a huge part of my youth. Going to throw on my Euro 88 VHS today.
