Hotel offering drive-through afternoon tea for Mother's Day

Well, it's certainly a different way to mark Mother's Day.

We have taken this very difficult decision for the safety of our exceptional staff and their families and out of regard for our valued clientele, partners and the community of Glaslough Village. With people being encouraged to practice social distancing and limit their social interaction, traditional celebrations are off the menu.

But, the resourceful staff at Castle Leslie hotel have come up with a pretty unique way to mark Mother's Day tomorrow; drive-through afternoon tea.

The hotel is currently closed for guests due to the Covid-19 outbreak, but will open for the afternoon tomorrow.

People are being encouraged to order vouchers online in advance.

On Sunday, guests will be asked to present their vouchers at the entrance to the hotel, before driving up to the hotel to pick up their afternoon tea and enjoying it in the comfort of their own homes.
