Looking for a festival fix?
After a week of festival cancellation announcements, one Galway festival has decided to combat Covid-19 by going digital.
Cúirt International Festival of Literature has been running since Thursday.
Speaking to Kayte on iWeekend, Festival Director Sasha de Buyl said they have seen an increase in ticket sales and attendance for this year's event.
“It's been a very joyful thing to be able to sit down and listen to the conversations happening at Cúirt this year. Our first day of the festival went incredibly well, and the response to the events has been so much more than we could have hoped for."
"Audience feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and our authors have adapted the new format well," she added.
