Twitter is introducing a new "Tip Jar" function, to allow users to make a donation to one another.
The social media platform says they’ve noticed people sharing PayPal and Venmo links following a viral tweet, in the hopes other users will tip the creator.
Twitter, which will no receive a cut from donations, says the update is the first step the update is taking to support creators.
