Good news for sports fans!!
The Government has announced plans for up to 16 trial sporting events with spectators.
It's Working Group has published guidelines for sports grounds today with the aim of bringing fans back to tournaments.
The first trial events take place this Friday, with two football matches in Cork and Dublin.
Along with a rugby match in the Capital.
Minister of State for Sport, Jack Chambers says they'll start small for the moment.
"We're looking at approximately 5-10 percent for a lot of the pilot events of capacity," he said.
"But I'm confident that we'll be able to significantly increase that over the summer."
He says it's about building confidence that sports fans can return safely to events.
