The power of social media shines through again and again.
A sliotar that went missing in Cork has been reunited with its owner after ending up on a beach in Wales.
Darren Acteson found the ball with the name "Micheál Dwan-Fogarty" scrawled on it after it made an epic journey across the Irish Sea.
It took him just 15 hours to locate its owner, a young hurler from Douglas, with the help of Irish Twitter users.
I work with his dad. He just showed me the tweet, he can't reply because he's not on twitter. His young lad plays for @DOUGLASGAA in Cork. His dad's name is Michael Fogarty

The postage to get it back to Cork will cost more than the sliotar itself.
