The centres are open over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The HSE says 10,000 people have so far availed of Covid vaccines from walk-in centres.
Walk in Vaccination Centres all across the country are off to a great start this weekend. City West is flying it, with over 800 people vaccinated in the first 1.5 hours. Smaller centres equally reporting a good turnout. A great response by the Irish people. @HSELive pic.twitter.com/QpfgDXZHBz

Over 20 centres are open today, offering anybody over-16 their first vaccine dose.
You don't need an appointment, you just need to bring photo ID and your PPS number.
The centres have led to an acceleration in the vaccine rollout.
72.4 percent of adults in Ireland are fully vaccinated.
That means we are now ahead of the UK in terms of percentage.
Weve been "blown away" by attendances at walk in clinics. Young people in Ireland have been to the fore of changing this country for the better. Now they've come out in numbers to protect themselves & us. And we're now ahead of the UK for % of adults fully vaccinated! @HSELive

Because of the success of pilot walk-in centre, it's expected further walk-in clinics will be announced.
Damien McCallion, the HSE's National Lead for the Covid vaccination programme, says it's hoped walk-in clinics will help to improve vaccine uptake even further.
"One of the objectives of the centres was to improve access for people, give people an alternative," he said.
"Also to try and draw in people who hadn't registered or had access."
The centres were hoped to help people access a vaccine in case they were away from home.
