Fingers crossed this all holds through!

It's reported there'll be no time limit for customers when pubs and restaurants reopen early next month.

Social distancing is also to be halved to just 1 metre.

The aim is to increase customer capacity.

We can also say goodbye to the requirement of a meal costing at least €9!!

Donal O'Keefe, Chief Executive of the Licensed Vintners Association welcomes the changes.

"People want to spend time in pubs and spend time with their friends."

"The previous time limit was very artificial, it worked against the pub experience," he added.

The date set for the re-opening of the industry is the 7th of June, when outdoor dining will be allowed.

Also re-opening on that date are gyms, swimming pools and leisure centres, for individual training.

You'll also be allowed have visitors from one other household into your home.

Before that though, on the 2nd of June, hotels, B&Bs and hostels can re-open.
