Paul Mescal releases new song ahead of Irish crime podcast

The Normal People star is one of many well-known Irish voices on the podcast.

Paul Mescal features on a new song for an upcoming podcast series.

The Irish actor will be the voice of one of the characters in a new scripted podcast series called Black Alley.

Black Alley is a series on fictional crime stories, also featuring some other well-known Irish stars.

Love/Hate's 'Nidge' aka Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is also set to feature.

Along with Chris Walley and Alex Murphy, who play Jock and Conor in The Young Offenders.

Ahead of his episode, Paul has recorded a track called 'Black to the Bed', which will feature on the episode entitled Thunder.

The first episode is available to stream wherever you get your podcast from June 1st, with an episode out every two week until July 13th.

Paul's episode is called 'Thunder' and here's the description:

"It's a cold and stormy night. One by one, a gang of robbers arrive back at their den. When their chief arrives, he explains that he’s hidden the score. He’ll take them out individually to give them their cut. Which means most of them will have to wait."

It'll be out on the 15th June so pop that in the diary so you won't forget!
