Please don't let this be real!
One of the best things about living in Ireland is that we're meant to be excused from gigantic spiders.
While we do have our fair share of creepy crawly's, we're exempt from those horror movie sized monsters you hear about in the Amazon and in Australia etc.
So the last place you'd expect to find one in Ireland is in your salad.
However, that's exactly where a woman from Kildare Town found one.
And it's truly the stuff of nightmares.
After shopping at a Lidl a customer found the unwelcome arachnid mixed in with the usual lettuce, carrot and sweetcorn, Dublin Live reports.
Images of the spider were shared by the customer's concerned mother on the Lidl Facebook page, with many commenting their disgust at the situation.
She said: "Look at what my daughter found in her salad. My daughter had the salad for her lunch earlier and it was in against the lettuce leaves. She's after vomiting..she's hoping she didn't eat any other one that was in it that she didn't see."
One person responded: "Oh Jesus that is disgusting...I feel sick!!!!"
While another said: "Thank god I don't eat salad that's traumatising."
But other also managed to make the light of the situation, adding: "Was she charged extra for it?"
And another quipped: "OMG seriously!!! Are they starting a new bush tucker trial range?"
Lidl have said they're launched a full investigation over the incident.
