Met Éireann has some good news for us
Well isn't this nice.
After an endless bombardment of negative weather stories over the last few months (including an actual blizzard), we can finally bask under some consistently blue skies.
And it seems this pleasant trend is going to continue around the Country until at least Sunday.
Met Éireann's latest forecast has delivered the news we've all been wanting to hear...
The outlook on the National Forecasters website says that other than a little drizzle near northwest coasts the next few days will be: ''mainly dry and settled weather up to the weekend at least, as high pressure prevails over Ireland.''
We'll take that!
Outlook
Today is set to see temperatures of around 14 to 17 degrees Celsius throughout Ireland with consistent sunshine and just a little patchy cloud.
While Thursday will sit between a mild 14-18 degrees and Friday will be ''fine and dry almost everywhere.''
And things are still looking promising as far away as Saturday! The Met says another dry day is expected in most areas with warm sunny spells. However ''Cloud will spill into the west during the evening and rain will spread slowly east across the country.''
All in all, a positive report. If you have a chance, make sure you get out and enjoy the sunshine!
