WATCH: Outrage as England fans filmed performing Nazi salute in Russia

The WorldJewish Congress brought the video to attention

U.K authorities are currently working to identify a group of English football fans who we're filmed performing Nazi salutes in a Russian bar a at the World Cup.

In the above video, the man can be heard shouting "Sieg Heil," as they perform the highly offensive gesture.

The video was brought to attention by the WorldJewish Congress, and has been widely condemned.
Uploading the video to YouTube, it wrote: ''On Monday, English football fans were filmed while performing Nazi salutes and singing anti-Semitic songs. The incident happened at the Galleriya pub in Volgograd. The fans were visiting Russia for the World Cup.
There is no place for anti-Semitism in football.''

The British police investigations lead for the World Cup, detective superintendent Caroline Marsh, said: "The abhorrent behaviour seen in this video is completely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated."

"Our investigation team in the UK is already making swift inquiries to identify those involved and will seek to take all appropriate action against them."

While a spokesperson for the FA  said: "We strongly condemn the actions of the people in this video.

"We are working with the relevant authorities, including the UK police investigations team, who are making inquiries to identify the individuals involved and take appropriate action.

"The disgraceful conduct of the individuals in this video does not represent the values of the majority of English football fans supporting the team in Russia."
