A suspected UFO spotted over a football stadium in Russia has Alien conspirators convinced the World Cup is so big it's gathering extra-terrestrial interest.
An Instagram user by the name of @natashka_solnce2 from Kirov shared the video supposed extra terrestrial life form over a World Cup venue, where England will play Panama on June 24.
The woman posted the video with the caption: "What the hell was that? Doesn't look like anything I've previously seen"
The video shows a rocket that morphs into the shape of a stingray, leaving a trail of stunning bright light over the stadium.
While onlookers are convinced this is proof of alien existence, the amazing footage has been explained by Russian space officials.
The eerie light show coincided with a rocket launch from Plesetsk cosmodrome in the country's sub-Arctic Arkhangelsk region.
So... Pretty safe to assume that's what it was. Those space officials! Always ruining all the fun.
