''We build and help''
Ibrahim Halawa, has taken to Twitter in an attempt to show the public the 'true Tallaght.'
The former prisoner and activist - who is a native of the area - posted a video to his account, showing friends a neighbours helping one another to clear a path in the snow.
This comes in the wake of the horrible scenes witnessed in Tallaght on Friday night, where a number of men used a stolen digger to break into and destroy the Fortunestown Lane branch of Lidl during a looting spree.
"This is the true Tallaght in my area," Halawa wrote:
"Hand in hand, clearing a pathway for eachother (sic). We don't we don't all knock down stores... We build and help."
