Gardai are still appealing for any witnesses to the collision.
A 68-year-old woman who was killed in Co. Roscommon on Monday night has been named locally as Kathleen Morris.
The pensioner lost her life when her car collided with two other vehicles on the N63 near Roscommon town at around 9:45pm.
Mrs Morris, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene while the drivers of the other vehicles were brought to hospital for treatment.
Locals paid fond tributes to Mrs Morris online, with one writing: “A lovely lady, so sad. RIP Kathleen, you’ll be missed on Weds evening, especially for the biscuits.”
Another said:“Our deepest sympathies John and Michael, a true lady, RIP.”
A third added: “RIP Kathleen. So sad, a lovely lady, thoughts and prayers are with Michael and John and extended family at this sad time, may God comfort ye.”
