Creepy or perfect?
Tinder's new feature is splitting opinion as to whether it goes too far, or whether it will make life a whole lot easier for it's users.
The dating app's new ‘Places’ feature will allow users to track down matches who have visited particular locations.
Potential matches location's will be viewable for up to 30-minutes after they have left wherever they were, and that information will remain on the app for 28 days.
You can pick your match while at the venue via the 'Places' option, which can be found at the top of the discovery page.
The new feature has not gone down well with everyone, with one user claiming his house has had been made a ‘place’.
However Tinder denies this, saying only ‘social places’ were included and a user could delete a venue or turn off the feature altogether.
A Tinder spokesperson said on a blog: '‘If you don’t want anyone to know that you were at the library, we’ll keep your secret. ‘Just know that if you ever need a study buddy, you can count on Places to be there.’'
