
If built, the building could stand at 25-storeys
Plans for what could be the tallest building in Ireland, have have been submitted to An Bord Pleanála.
The building would be located near Cork’s Mahon Point, and would consist of 413 apartments, three retail units and a crèche contained in six blocks ranging in height from six to 25 storeys.
Designed by O’Mahony Pike Architects, the 25-storey tower, set to become the tallest building in the country, will be entirely residential.
The current tallest building in Ireland is the Elysian in Dublin, which stands at 79 metres with 17-storeys.
