A huge two-day Garda operation has got underway in Co Meath.
Taking place in the Ashbourne District, the operation is set to kick off on Saturday at 7am and run until 4am on Sunday.
The Irish Mirror reports there will be high visibility checkpoints as well as searches under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
While they will also carry out high visibility patrols as well as plain clothes burglary patrols and licensed premises will be inspected.
Here's a rundown of what will be checked during the operation:
• Searches under warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act with the assistance of the Regional Surveillance Unit
• High visibility Checkpoints assisted by the Regional Armed Support Unit
• High visibility patrols by regular units, traffic units and Regional Armed Support Unit
• Execution of Warrants Penal and Bench warrants
• Plain clothes Burglary patrols
• Public Order beat patrols
• Inspection of Licensed premises
• Monitoring of Bail Conditions of prolific offenders residing in the area
• Engaging with the Public on Crime Prevention, Road Safety and Community Policing utilising the Eastern Region Command and Control Vehicle.
