This news should lift your Monday spirits
Met Eireann is predicting temperatures to climb as high as 19-degrees this coming long-weekend.
The warm front responsible for this BBQ-inducing weather will arrive in Ireland on Thursday, bringing mild weather for the rest of the week and over the weekend.
Although we'll have to wait a little longer until we bask in the sunshine, given the start of the week set to deliver a little more short term misery, with rain predicted on Monday and Tuesday.
Speaking to Independent.ie, Met Eireann forecaster Gerry Murphy said: "On Friday and the weekend, temperatures will begin to improve with highs of 19 degrees. Temperatures will be highest in Leinster, Munster and east Ulster.
"It will remain mainly dry throughout the weekend with a fair amount of dry weather."
That's all we need to hear! Could it be the weather gods have finally decided to take pity on us?
