Blankets at the ready!
Remember the days of people complaining about it being to hot in Ireland?
So do we... they were good times.
But they're long gone now! And we have officially got our first 0C of the winter.
Met Eireann's forecast for Wednesday night shows that parts of the country had better break out the hot water bottles later on:
"Apart from a few showers on the west coast, tonight will be cold and dry with clear spells and some patches of mist and fog. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with frost developing in places."
Thankfully, the rest of the week looks set to pick up a little bit, with temperatures over the weekend predicted to actually climb as high as 18 degrees! Good times.
And the rest of the month doesn't look to shabby either.
Meanwhile Midland Weather Channel say: "During this period we can expect some very pleasant spells of Autumn sunshine, with many areas seeing little or no rainfall. Temperatures by day would range between 9-15 degrees Celsius, but the nights would be cold and frosty."
Doesn't sound so bad!
