Germany's foreign minister says he has had confirmation that eight Germans were killed in a suicide bombing in Istanbul.
Officials in Turkey say a total of ten people died when a man, with suspected links to Islamic State, blew himself up in the historic Sultanahmet district.
Another 15 people are reported to have been injured.
