Does this make you feel safer if you're attending the gig?
Gardaí have confirmed they will circulate among the crowd at Ed Sheeran's upcoming concerts in Salthill this Saturday and Sunday week, The Connacht Tribune has reported.
Superintendent Seán Glynn said 100-Galway Gardaí will attend the sell-out gigs at Pearse Stadium.
Seventy to be situated outside the venue, while 30-will-reportedly be inside the stadium mingling among the crowd.
The plainclothes Gardai will primarily be in place to police anti-social behaviour, it's believed.
Ed Sheeran is set to play in front of sold out crowds at Galway's Pearse Stadium on Saturday May 12 and Sunday 13th.
