A shop and pub were badly damaged.
Residents in Leitrim are describing squally winds resembling a tornado in the area.
A pub and shop in Leitrim village are said to be badly damaged due to Storm Fergus.
There are 16 counties currently in a yellow wind warning with some upgrading to status orange from 3pm.
Some boats decked on the harbour are said to be overturned as a result of the strong winds.
Fallen trees and walls have also been reported as well as damaged cars so take care when in the area.
