Six-other counties have also been issued with a Status Yellow warning
Parts of the West of Ireland are being told to brace for a battering, as Storm Hector approaches our shores.
A Status Orange Wind Warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Sligo, as gusts of 110 to 125 km/hr are expected, the warning is in place 9pm on Wednesday night until 10am on Thursday.
Meanwhile a Status Yellow Wind warning has been issued for Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare and Kerry from 9pm on Wednesday until 2pm on Thursday.
The national forecaster said: "On Wednesday evening and night and for a time on Thursday morning, south to southwest winds veering westerly, associated with Storm Hector, will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80 km/hr with gusts of 110 to 125 km/hr. Winds will be strongest in coastal areas."

Looking ahead to tomorrow, they added: "Showery on Thursday with very strong and gusty westerly winds.
"The winds will gradually ease through the day and the showers become more scattered. Highs of 15 to 18 degrees."
With the weekend set to see more of the same
Met Eireann said: "Generally dry to start off the day on Friday with good brightness /sunshine in many parts of the country.
"However, outbreaks of rain will develop through the day as cloud increases across Connacht, Ulster and west-Munster; the east and south will remain dry until late afternoon /evening.
"Highs of 14 or 15 degrees in moderate southwest breezes. Heavier rain will extend nationwide overnight."
