A number of letters written by those underground are delivered to the surface.
Rescuers in Thailand say they've managed to pump fresh air into a cave where 12 schoolboys and their coach have been trapped for a fortnight.
Yesterday there were concerns that oxygen levels in the cave were depleting.
With more rainfall forecast for tomorrow, Thai officials are extremely anxious to evacuate the boys as soon as possible. Narongsak Osatanakorn, the governor of Chiang Rai province acknowledged the challenges facing rescuers saying, “We are racing against time and shoulder all the expectations.”
Videos shared online yesterday show the boys in good spirits. Letters they have written to family were delivered to the surface and published this morning. In them, the boys tell their parents not to worry about them and request their favourite food when they get out. They also joke about not getting much homework from their teachers.
One of the letters was from the football coach in which he thanks the rescue teams for all the moral support and apologises to the boys' parents.
