The United Arab Emirates now has the world’s most powerful passport in the world with access to the greatest number of countries visa-free.
That's according to a global Passport Index from Canadian based company Arton Capital.
The company tracks the power of each country's passport and said the Middle Eastern state added four new countries to its easy entry destinations at the beginning of the month.
Meaning people from the U.A.E can enter 167 countries Visa free, the New Zealand Herald reported.
This beat last year’s number one passport, Singapore.
Meanwhile, the republic of Ireland's passport is now level with the UK's in terms of visa-free access to countries.
With both nations sitting in forth position along with Belgium, Austria, Japan, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, and Canada.

At the very bottom of the table, the least-powerful passports are Iraq and Afghanistan, granting visa-free access to only 32 and 29 countries respectively.
