Staff at the Fat Boar in North Wales are fed with with people on their phones at dinner.

We all know someone, it may even be yourself, who is constantly glued to their phone, no matter where they are.

While it was once considered quite rude to ignore the person sitting across from you, it's now a common sight in pubs and restaurants everywhere.

Well, one pub in North Wales has had enough of this rudeness! And they've developed a unique way to put a stop to it.

The Fat Boar in Wrexham, north Wales, is now offering people 25-per cent off their food if they lock their phones away in a box on the table.

They even have to hand their keys over to staff for the entire duration of their meal.

Restaurant manager Jade Darlington told Mirror Online: "We all see people sitting together at tables, waiting for their food without talking and looking at their phones.

"I think we all feel a certain amount of pressure to be constantly checking emails, social media, texts and all the other messaging on our phones.

"But if we can do something to encourage people to put their phones down and concentrate solely on one another and the fun night out they are having with us, then I think that’s a really positive thing."

We think this is a great idea!
