There will be some very disappointed bathers in the North West.
Bathing restrictions are in place at a number of beaches in Co Donegal this week.
Bundoran beach is closed due to fears of the water being polluted.
The Environmental Protection Agency says bathing is temporarily prohibited at the hugely popular beach, as the water quality has deteriorated due to suspected storm water overflow.
Swim restrictions are also in place at Port Arthur beach in Derrybeg and Portnablagh due to possible pollution.
Meanwhile in Galway, a swimming ban has been issued for Ballyloughane beach due to elevated levels of E. coli.
