The search for Malaysian Flight MH370 will be terminated

The search will end next Tuesday

It appears the final resting location of tragic Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 might never be known, after it was announced the search for the aircraft by a private US firm will end next Tuesday.

The shock announcement comes after Malaysia's transport minister has announced that the US firm's search will be granted no more extensions, news.com.au reports.

Houston-based group Ocean Infinity has been searching for the aircraft that disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014, with 239 people on board in one of the world's greatest aviation mysteries.

The Ocean Infinity search came after Australia, China and Malaysia ended a fruitless $200 million AUD (€128.7M) search across a 120,000 square-kilometre area in the Indian Ocean last year.

This announcement follows recent revelations that the infamous 2014-crash which claimed 239-lives, was intentionally crashed into the ocean by it's 53-year-old Pilot Captain Zaharie, in an apparent murder-suicide

However, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau rejects these claims

ATSB Official Peter Foley said: "There's no earthly reason why someone in control of an aircraft would exhaust its fuel and then attempt to glide it when they have the option of ditching," Foley said.

"The aircraft was probably descending in an uncontrolled manner.''
