Is this the way of the future?
Dutch firm 'LegalThings,' are aiming to change the way sexual consent is given in the future.
'LegalFling,' is the firm's vision of an app which would ensure explicit consent is given between partners before engaging in any sexual behaviour.
The app would work by sending a request for consensual sex to the contact of your choosing, which they can then respond too accordingly.
As well as sending the consent request, the app also lets you set your sexual preferences.
Including a list of your preferred do’s and don'ts.
While the app would mainly be used for one-night stands, its creators say it may provide legal cover for many different kinds of sexual activity, including in long-term relationships.
In a statement on the firm's website, a spokesman wrote: ''Sex should be fun and safe, but nowadays a lot of things can go wrong.
'Think of unwanted videos, withholding information about STDs and offensive porn reenactment.
'While you're protected by law, litigating any offenses through court is nearly impossible in reality.
'LegalFling creates a legally binding agreement, which means any offense is a breach of contract.
'By using the Live Contracts protocol, your private agreement is verifiable using the blockchain and enforceable with a single click.''
So, do you think app's like this are the way of the future?
Or is this all just a bit of over kill?
