100km/h winds are expected as Storm Diana closes in.
Met Éireann has updated it's status yellow wind warning to include nine counties, as Storm Diana approaches Irish shores.
Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo can all expect very strong winds with gusts up to 90-110 km/h.
The updated warning was issued at 10:30am this morning (Tuesday) and is valid until 2pm.
Meanwhile a status yellow rainfall warning also applies for the same time period for Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan.
It warned of heavy rain at times with 20-30mm expected to fall over a short period, leading to some surface flooding with highest volumes on higher ground.
Storm Diana was named by the IPMA Portuguese weather service and is expected to hit Irish shores on Wednesday.

UPDATE
Cork, Kerry and Waterford Wexford, Galway and Clare have just received a status orange warning for severe winds associated with Storm Diana on Wednesday.
The warning is valid from Wednesday 28 November at 6am to Wednesday 28 November 2018 12pm.
Meanwhile a status yellow warning for wind remains in place for Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo until 2pm on Tuesday.
And a status yellow rain warning is also current for Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan until 2pm tuesday.
