Sound move from Kildare GAA!
A student in Sligo was given detention last week after the school realised they had put graffiti on a bathroom wall.
Jude who is a 6th year student in Sligo was taking part in a jersey day at school when they were caught.
He was identified as the culprit when he decided to wear his Kildare jersey to school that day.
The principal had asked the pupil if he wrote "Kildare for Sam" on a bathroom wall in 2018, when he was in second year.
Jude admitted to writing on the bathroom toilet wall as he was the only pupil in the school with connections to this county.
His mother, Olivia Fitzgerald Murphy took to twitter to share the situation.
Now Killdare GAA have responded to the tweet with a gift for youngster.
They gave Jude a Leinster Final jersey, and tickets to a home 2022 Allianz Football League Division 1 game.
That’s a story to tell in years to come @oilibhia ??
In recognition @KildareGAA would like to present a embroidered Kildare GAA Leinster Final jersey along with tickets to a home 2022 Allianz Football League Div1 fixture.
