Officials in Burkina Faso say an assault is under way at a second hotel in the capital, after Islamist militants killed at least 23 people at a hotel and cafe nearby.
126 hostages were freed in Burkina Faso and four militants killed after the Hotel Splendid in Ouagadougou was taken by Islamic militants last night. al-Qaida has claimed responsibility for last night's attack.
French President Francois Hollande has condemned the attack as "odious and cowardly". It's believed then country was targeted because of its association with France.
