Ireland to the US for €119? WOW air's Black Friday sale is here

If you're in the market for a holiday, there's no better time to book than Black Friday.

Icelandic carriers WOW Air has launched a flash ‘Purple Friday’ sale to a range of US destinations starting from €119.99 one way to seven destinations in the US and Canada.

The offer started on Tuesday (today) and will run until Sunday so you’ll have to act quick to get flights to Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, St Louis, Pittsburgh, Toronto or Montréal.

Commenting today, Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, Director of Communications at WOW air, said: “With Christmas fast approaching, we are delighted to offer our annual Purple Friday discounts to our customers. 

“We always say there is no better gift than the gift of travel and we are excited to continue to offer our customers even lower fares for travel to Iceland and North America just in time for the gifting season.”

Not to be outdone...

Ryanair have also joined the budget flight party.

The airline is offering the public 250,000 seats for less than ten quid.

Customers should keep their eyes peeled on the Ryanair website for their bumper offers for the latest daily offers over the next eight days.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “We have 8 days of amazing deals on the Ryanair.com website, offering customers the lowest fares in Europe, with even bigger savings.

“Customers should log on to Ryanair.com to bag a bargain today – and look out for even more massive savings every day this week.

And we’ll also run a 10% discount on all check-in bags booked this week, ensuring even more savings for our customers.”
