Please don't tell your boss we told you this...
Like getting more bang for your buck? Then you should get onto this ASAP.
Basically, the way the bank holidays will fall across April and May this year means canny employees can enjoy a 17-day-break by taking just 9 days off.
Yes, we're aware it's only January 4th...but don't pretend like you haven't thought of your next break.
So how can you do it? Like this:
This year Easter Monday falls on April 22. May Day then follows on May 6.
And kindly, Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert website has pointed out that by taking April 23, 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30 off, as well as May 1, 2 and 3, employees will leave offices on April 19 and not return until May 7.
And if you're lucky enough to get Good Friday (April 19th) off as well, you're looking at an 18 day break, happy days.
However, the website adds: "This may not work for everyone but we've based this on a typical five-day working week."
Sorry office mangers! The office may get a little scarce this April/May.
