It's the same top-ten as last year - just in a new order
If you're happy and you know it... you're probably Scandinavian.
Why? Because an astounding Five Scandinavian Counties sit in the annual U.N. Happiness ranking report top 10.
Finland has taken out top spot, followed by Norway, Denmark and Iceland while Sweden sits in 9th position.
Meanwhile, Ireland is ranked a commendable 14th in the world for happiness, up one place from 15th in 2017.
The report showed Ireland experienced an increase in “health-adjusted life exoectancy” of 4.1 years, going from a life expectancy of 67.4 years in 2000 to 71.5 years in 2015. It also listed Ireland as the 11th most accepting country for migrants.
The US sits in 18th and the UK in 19th.
