A teenage girl who got into difficulty while swimming in Co Louth this afternoon has died.
The 14-year-old had been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after she was pulled out to sea near Termonfeckin.
A group of teenagers had been swimming together when it happened.
She has since passed away at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
