Gardaí appeal for witnesses after fatal crash in Meath

A 24-year-old male passenger was fatally injured in the crash.

Gardaí in Meath are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a crash last night at Kilmainhamwood outside Kells, at around 8pm.

The 24-year-old was a passenger in a car that collided with another car.

The driver of that car, also a 24-year-old man, and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Gardaí in Navan are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Navan Garda Station on 046-9036100, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
