The impact of the 5.9 magnitude quake was felt across the city.
The tremor hit at 9AM local time and shaking was caught on camera during ABC's Morning Breakfast Show.

Pictures on social media show damage to buildings, with bricks falling onto the street and powerlines brought down.
So far, there have been no injuries reported.
It's late afternoon over here in Melbourne ?? We're all still a bit shaken (pun intended!) about the magnitude 6.0 earthquake that hit just after 9AM. No deaths or injuries, thankfully!
