The Domestic Violence Advocacy Service Sligo Leitrim & West Cavan are calling on women to take a stand against domestic violence.
When something is wrong, you take a stand.
And something is definitely wrong in Ireland at the moment.
One in three women experience psychological violence by a male partner in their lifetime.
That's about 580,000 Irish women.
Think about that number - 580,000 Irish women have been made to feel unsafe by the one who is meant to love them the most.
And in a staggering 79 per cent of cases, the domestic violence is never reported.
This is where we make our stand.
The Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (DVAS) Sligo Leitrim & West Cavan are on a mission to encourage women to report domestic violence, in the hope we can eradicate it for good.
That's why they're calling for 100 women to take part in a video for change - 100 women standing on behalf of 580,000.
So this is a rallying cry to the women of the North West to stand up and turn out against domestic violence by taking part in a video, which will say ‘no more’ to domestic violence.

No acting experience required, as all 100 roles are non speaking.
Where: Sligo Tennis Club, Old Bundoran Road, Sligo.
When: Saturday, December 8th, filming begins at 9.30am.
