Barbecues and short-shorts anyone?
Asides from the fact a status yellow rainfall warning remains in place for parts of the Country until 7pm tonight, things are looking rosy for the short-term future!
While Counties Cavan; Donegal; Galway; Leitrim; Roscommon; Sligo; Clare; Cork; Kerry and Limerick can expect further significant rainfall for the rest of Monday, tomorrow and the days following will paint a completely different picture...
According to Met Eireann, Tuesday will be dry with sunshine, ranging between 13-18 degrees, while some areas will even see temps in the low 20s.
But it's Wednesday when things will start to really heat up! With dry conditions with sunshine expected, and the Celsius set to hover around the low 20s, especially in the mid-west, west and north-west.
Happy days!
Thursday, Friday & the weekend
Delving deeper still, and it's more good news.
At this stage Thursday and Friday, should also be dry with sunny spells, and around the 2oC mark. Another tick.
However; Met Éireann has warned that there is a possibility of heavy, thundery showers, particularly in the south and west. We'll just ignore that for now...
Perhaps most importantly though, the weekend looks set to deliverer big time. Early indications from the Met say Saturday and Sunday, won't be holding back with the sunshine with dry days expected both days and temps again in those low-20s.
We don't usually ask for much... but please just let this happen!
