Ireland isn't the only Country experiencing unprecedented heat
A horrifying heat map released by the University of Maine, has sent shockwaves throughout the Global community, as heat levels sore across the planet.
The map shows record-breaking temperatures across Europe, the Middle East and Western Asia due to huge areas of sweltering pressure called heat domes (or heat pressure).
North America’s heatwave has even turned deadly with both the US and Canada also recording its highest recorded temperatures.
The world is boiling: Heatwave shatters records in parts of California, kills 54 in Quebec (Canada), melts roads in Great Britain, engulfs Iran and sets temperature record in Africa #heatwave #weather #anomaly https://t.co/62HcIpeSa5 via @Strange_Sounds pic.twitter.com/KEsLEqo8WS

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported the heat was to blame for at least 54 deaths in southern Quebec, mostly in and near Montreal.
Meteorologist Nick Humphrey wrote: “It is absolutely incredible and really one of the most intense heat events I’ve ever seen for so far north.”
